The Capri Motel - Winnipeg

The Capri Motel in Winnipeg was a brilliant place for me to relax and have fun. the location was marvelous, near to almost everything I could ever need. - It was right by Investors Group Field and BC Place Stadium.

I had a fantastic experience here, everything was pleasant, the location was good short walk to other areas of the country, the club, and downtown. The staff were genuinely helpful and knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure.

The breakfast meal was free. The room was fairly quiet and big size as requested. The location was good - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Btw, the airport was 20 km away...

Everything here is pleasant, including the strong wi-fi, extremely comfy bed, fairly quiet and spacious room, and the amiable, helpful staff.

front staff have been working there too long and all need too take a course in hospitality,seemed not too be very trusting -air conditioning did not work with 30 plus degrees outside and hotter inside and front staff did not know what too do to turn it up,did not care that it did not work-requested too move too new room and it was better for the air conditioning but light by the bed did not work-wanted too stay for another day but they would not save the room unless i came in by 11am and would not take credit card over the phone as i was up late and they also were going too charge more for the 2nd night than the first night -so i told the manager that if i was going too dress too come in then i would leave-which i did

i really did not care for the fruit flies that flew at us as soon as we walked in the room

I had a spacious room with cooking facilities including a microwave oven and an electric kettle.

It was scary and unclean.

Good bang for your buck. Price of a hostel. Close to U of M

Beds a bit hard. Water pressure poor at peek times.
